Right well I did say I may countinue with these kind of drawings I find them fun in a way cuz the gears and metal though a pain and a lot of detail is kinda fun in the most horrible of ways. I got the shark idea before the Discovery shark week and I find myself appreciating that bit of acciedental irony.

I actually really like how this turned out and was initally worried I wouldn't be able to get the right look with the blue-- for the science oriented out there you may or may not know copper can under certain chemical influnces become green or blue. And as the geeky geology tidbit of the day copper is actually what makes turquoise that lovey shade of blue also.

Now the name isn't actually made up... okay it is but I had reasons for the name which is actually pretty uncommon for me cuz I usually make up names for peices on the spot out of random letters and junk...ahem but several of clockwork kirin had names I based off of other things and this one is no differen't. Cu-Same. Cu oviously is the chemical symbology for Copper which this kirins base metal and Same is one of the japanese word/wordparts for Shark--Kirin are oriental in orgin so it works. At least the interenet and tv tell me this...ahem. Its actually kinda of a pun on another name (Bad pun, its a bit of a strech too) and if you can figure it out kudos to you. Take a guess and I will tell you if you are right (A hint: try saying the u in the Cu as a 'you' not 'ooo' sound, if you know the reference it will help a little... er I think).

Why a shark-blend? Good question, my imagination dose weird things some times and the name-pun bearer was the inspiration for this partly and I thought it would be cool looking. It was so I am not arguing.
